summer

where would you be if you could be anywhere right now? i'd be sitting outside insomnia cafe in los angeles, watching the sun go down and glimmer off so many passing luxury cars. i would smell gasoline and salty ocean winds. and sip a creamy beverage, try to solve a partial differential equation to no avail. later i would join my friends in east l.a. for a long night of beer and poker, pausing only for the 11:30 episode of the simpsons.
